Kinh is Axiom Zen’s globetrotting talent huntress, expertly tracking down the world’s most gifted builders to join our dynamic and ever-expanding team.
Kinh joined Facebook pre-IPO and spearheaded the company’s first international university recruiting efforts. During her tenure she hired hundreds of software engineers, including a record number of female engineers. Following Facebook’s IPO Kinh set out on a quest to find the Next Big Thing, spending some time at analytics leader Mixpanelbefore finding her way to Axiom Zen.
Prior to Facebook, Kinh was a technical recruiter for Storage Area Networking leader Brocade, and before that for internet giant Google where she hired over 100 software engineers in one year. She started her career as a Human Resources supervisor for Anheuser-Busch.
Kinh’s personal diversity shines through in her work. She has lived, traveled, and studied in over 30 countries, most recently joining two of Dave McClure’s “Geeks on a Plane” trips across the Middle East to mentor local entrepreneurs, investors, and startups.
Kinh is also a founding mentor of TechWomen — a program funded by the U.S. Department of State that helps women in Africa and the Middle East pursue careers in technology. She recently made an angel investment in a mentee’s company, Glanse, creators of a mobile app to help consumers find hot deals with various clothing retailers.
From a young age, Kinh was destined for greatness. She was voted “most likely to take over the world” in middle school; then became president and the only female member of the high school science club; and began taking college classes when she was just 15 years old. She graduated with a whopping 3.9 GPA from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in human resources.
